Promotion

The newsgroup was born October the 12th, 2002. Compared with other newsgroups that is young. This means that not all servers have the group and that possible users do not know about the existence of the group.

You can help promoting the group. If you know an ISP in your region that does not provide the group you can write them and ask them to add the group.

Be sure to mention that the group is listed at ISC.org. It can help.
Most ISP's have a few newsgroups of their own, only available on their servers. When mailing them does not help you could try to request the newsgroup on one of those newsgroups.

If you want to get involved you can ask your local Citroën clubs to add the link 'news:alt.autos.citroen' on their site. A link to www.aacity.net can also help.

You could mention the newsgroup in your signature when writing an e-mail or Usenet posing.

If you meet someone that has interest in Citroëns be sure to mention the newsgroup as a place where Citromaniacs meet.

If you reply to a Usenet posting relating to Citroën make an x-post with this newsgroup.

When you are a member of other car related groups your could drop the newsgroup name now and then.
